Check In The latest check-in time for your Christmas or New Year Party Mini-Cruise will be shown on your travel document. It is extremely important that you check-in by the time that is shown on your travel documents as Brittany Ferries and Cruise World cannot be held responsible for any delays that passengers might happen to experience in route to Continental Ferry Port in Portsmouth. Documentation will normally arrive approx 10 days to two weeks prior to your journey. You must have all necessary travel documents to enter the country, which, you intend to visit and for re-entry into the UK. It is the passenger’s responsibility to establish his or her own individual requirements. If you do not have valid documents you will not be able to board. Cruise World and Brittany Ferries accept no responsibility for passengers refused entry to any country by the relevant authority for whatever reason. Cruise World and Brittany Ferries have absolute discretion whether or not to accept any passenger, their vehicle or luggage on board and reserves the right to refuse carriage or to refuse to retain any person as a client if their conduct is disruptive and like to affect the enjoyment or safety of others. Cruise World and Brittany Ferries will exercise its discretion fairly and shall be under no liability for any additional costs incurred by such a person as a result of Cruise World or Brittany Ferries refusing carriage or refusing to retain any person as a client. Special Requirements Limited medical services may be available on board. Where they are, there may be a charge for their use. Any special needs or boarding arrangements must be clearly specified at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure your needs are known and understood. If you travel with a pre-diagnosed condition then travel is entirely at your own risk and you should obtain advise from your own doctor before travelling. If you require special assistance or disabled facilities please notify us at the time of booking and on arrival at the port, so that we may endeavour to accommodate your needs. We have a number of cabins adapted for disabled passengers and lift facilities for ease of movement between decks; however, facilities are limited so please enquire at time of booking. A disabled badge number will be required and the disable cabins are for people who are in wheelchairs only. We are unable to transport anyone who is 28 weeks or more pregnant at the time of travel or those with pregnancy complications. No dangerous goods or firearms may be brought on board without our written permission. Dangerous goods must be declared at the time of booking and on arrival at the port. If in doubt as to whether items qualify as dangerous goods, please ask us before travel or boarding may be refused. The transport of petrol cans is specifically forbidden. AS LONG AS YOUR PURCHASES ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY, THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS. You do not have to pay any tax or duty in the UK on goods you have bought tax paid on board or in other EU countries for your own use and transported by you (just keep your receipts). “Own Use” includes goods, which, are for your own consumption and gifts. |
