Page 2 of 2 Further Information General Information Fares are based on travel dates and times. Travel documents are only valid for the sailing dates/times indicated. Open return tickets are not available. A charge is made for the use of credit cards on any booking. No charge applies to the use of UK debit cards or other payment methods. Cruise World will not carry any passengers under the age of 16 unless an adult of 18 years or over accompanies them. Confirmation and Payment Confirmed bookings are payable in full at time of reservation. The contract is between Cruise World, Brittany Ferries and the passenger named on the confirmation and/or travel document, and all persons travelling with that passenger on the same travel document. Amendments Fees Any changes made to your original reservation will incur a £15.00 per person amendment fee. If you do not add your car onto your reservation form and decide that you wish to add it on at a later date there will be a amendment fee of £15.00 in addition to the car parking charge of £29.00. Cancellations and Refunds Refunds on cancelled bookings are based on the following scale:
Changes and Interrruptions to Sailings and Services All departure/arrival times are local – please refer to your travel document. Sailing schedules may be interrupted and/or crossing times extended or changed without notice to you due to adverse weather conditions, tidal conditions, unforeseen operational and/or technical reasons beyond our control. If changes in route, facilities or timing are advised before departure and before boarding are not acceptable to you and you choose not to travel then a full refund of the unused elements of your fare will be made. We cannot accept liability for any losses, damages or expenses arising or any consequential losses howsoever caused as a result of the cancellation, diversion or delay of the ship where ‘force majeure’, or matters outside of our control apply, for example, extreme weather conditions, unforeseen technical breakdown to ship or port facilities, strike action or blockade of ports. If these circumstances become apparent after boarding or at sea, our priority is to deliver you safely to the most appropriate port. In these situations our liability will be limited to a refund of the appropriate portion of fare if returned to the country of departure or fare differential if delivered to a different port to that originally planned. In all cases outlined above the refund of the appropriate portion of the fare paid will be the total extent of our liability to you. CRUISE WORLD & BRITTANY FERRIES shall not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses or any consequential losses howsoever arising. We strongly recommend that travel insurance be taken out, if not through Cruise World, then, with the various companies, which sell Travel Insurance. Conditions of Carriage Carriage is subject to our General Booking Terms and Conditions and the Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea 1974 (The Athens Convention. You are responsible for the security and safekeeping of your possessions and Cruise World and Brittany Ferries cannot be held liable for the loss or theft of any items. High value items should be lodge with the Purser for safekeeping. If we are unable to do, then please write to, either, Cruise World, Poole Meadow, Beamish Lane, Albrighton, Shropshire, WV7 3AG or to Brittany Ferries, Millbay, Plymouth, Pl1 3EW within 30 days of the problem occurring, quoting your booking reference number and date of sailing. The data we obtain from you is required to process your booking or enquiry as requested and to comply with requirements under Government Legislation. BRITTANY FERRIES HAS BANNED SMOKING ON THE PONT-AVEN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FOLLOWING - SMOKING AREA WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED ON THE OUTER DECKS. CIGARETTE DISPOSAL AREAS ON THE OUTSIDE DECKS ARE TO BE USED. THIS WILL BE STRONGLY ENFORCED ONBOARD FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ALL OUR PASSENGERS TRAVELLING WITH CRUISE WORLD DURING THE FESTIVE HOLIDAY PARTY MINI-CRUISES. WE ASK ALL PASSENGERS WHO SMOKE TO MAKE A NOTE OF WHERE THE CIGARETTE DISPOSAL AREAS ARE AT WHEN SMOKING OUTSIDE ON THE DECKS AND TO RESPECT THE NEW RULES WHICH HAVE HAD TO BE APPLIED!
